But let me explain the process. It may help me rationalize the mistakes.

I scribble these dispatches in a notebook whenever I get a chance, usually on bouncy bus or train rides. Then, every week or two when I actually find an Internet cafe, I rent a computer and type as fast and furious [see, there's a typo right there] as possible. I'm paying by the minute, the operating system is in Chinese, and half the keys are broken or sticky. Because of the limited time I can't proofread or edit, and because the OS is in another language I can't run a quick spell-check.

Throw all that on top of the fact that I'm not much of a writer to begin with, and this site is what you end up with.
